Mel & I have been married a L-O-N-G Time (since the early 60's). We have 5 plus 1(nephew)kids,we call our own. Grandkids range from 21 down to, two soon to be 6 year olds and are 13 plus 2, and 2 great grandsons. They are in two states....Whew, we did our part to populate the earth.

We have raised Satin & Dwarf Rabbits, Dairy Calves, Cows, Sheep, Cockatiels & English Budgies (Parakeets),Beta (fighting) Fish, and Arabian Horses, in addition to our kids and others. We still have a few Satin Rabbits for enjoyment and they are delicious.

We have lived in Wyoming about 18+yrs. We are about 21/2 hours from Yellowstone Park, on the scenic route. Located between the Caribou Mtns of Idaho & Bridger-Tetons of Wyoming. We are surrounded by mountains at 6200 plus feet. We have a lot of winter. One question frequently asked by tourists,"When is the last frost"?Answer is when is the first?

Star Valley has the largest cold water geyser in America. It's called the Periodic Springs. The Greys River Loop in the Bridger-Tetons usually still has snow on it in July. There is great white water rafting on the Snake River (about an hour from here).

Our kids
You know you are in Wyoming. . .
If your snow tires are still on in June
If a rodeo is the social event of the year
If Levi's, cowboy boots & hats are the dress code
If the pickup trucks all have 2 rifles,a rope and 2 dogs
And hospitality is the rule, at least for our family......

We have a multi-talented family. One of our kids has & loves her horses & is a kids librarian, 1 professional auto body , 2(plus 1) are computer specialists, and 1 is in associate realtor. Also, some of our kids and grandkids play banjo and guitars and made a washtub bass and give lessons. So we listen to bluegrass music. They call themselves Turquoise Sod (not quite bluegrass).

The silhouette above is a fall sunset from our back porch. Year round, we enjoy and feed a variety of wild birds.
One goal is to become better photographers, especially of family, animals
and landscape, to show the beauty Our Lord created.
We are down-to-earth, ordinary people, who love first, our Lord Jesus,
Family, our dogs and ponies, where we live, our friends and . . . that's...
A Family Touch.
